I’ve been working pretty hard on Twitter and building a great list of friends and followers on Twitter so I decided that it’s about time I start to review some of the top products out on Twitter right now. Today I bought The Twitter Traffic Machine and did a review of it. Here’s the review and I hope it can either save you money or help you in any way. Please leave feedback if it helps.

This is a series of videos, 6 to be exact and it walks you through how to use a few different useful tools for Twitter. There’s also a .pdf file that goes along with it.

These videos are in a .SWF file form, so for me I needed to download a SWF player in order to view the videos. But, that may be because I didn’t have a Flash movie player.

The first of these videos is based on setting up your Twitter profile and the importance of having a great picture as well as an awesome background for your profile and the power of your website. Shows what to fill in for your bio, etc. Pretty simple walkthrough.

The second video is based on the Tweetlater Automation tool which allows you to automatically DM your new followers. This is important because it allows you to automate your twitter marketing which is great for if you are away from your computer for whatever reason…say, you’re busy enjoying real life?

The third video is about Twollo. This is a great tool that allows you to automatically target people and it automatically follows them for you, this way you don’t have to spend hours trying to find people who are into your chosen niche.

Fourth video is all about creating content and where to get your content/automate it. Pretty cool features here and I didn’t know about a lot of what they teach in this video so I recommend spending time watching it.

Fifth video = FINDING PEOPLE! If you’re looking to build a large list of followers who are targeted to your niche, you need to find people….right? This works similar to Twollo but you can do this in real-time and it allows for you to take place in conversations that are happening right now on twitter. Pretty interesting and works great to find people so I recommend taking notes on this video.

Last video= using the affiliate program to raise money with this. My advice = this is over-saturated but its a great tutorial. So just a little suggestion is to take this advice and take it to A DIFFERENT NICHE!

Brilliant concepts and put across in a nice way. Good job to Gabe Strom and Bill Crosby for setting this up. Definitely worth the price tag even for the experienced Twitterer. If you want to find out where to get the Twitter Traffic Machine, head to this site

So what’s this posture thing that network marketing trainers and gurus all talk about? Is it the way you stand? The way you sit? Does it mean that you should smile more and talk less, or should you talk more and smile less?

It all seems so confusing, yet I hear about it quite a bit in the Network Marketing Industry.

Posture can most simply be defined for Network Marketing as the way you present yourself either in person or on the phone with a prospect. The thing is, it’s actually a lot deeper than that and what I ever thought posture truly was.

Posture is the ability to control the conversation, maybe you’ve noticed that when you talk to highly successful people they are asking YOU questions and through these questions you end up with an insight that you didn’t know of before. Posture is the strength of your belief in yourself, in your opportunity and in either your product or service. The stronger your belief is in something, the more posture you have and the better chance you will make the sale or get the new business partner.

The thing is, bad posture is actually evident on the phone or in person as well. People can sense the fact that you aren’t being genuine and that you really aren’t the Leader.

You may think “but Chris, I’ve only been involved in my company for 2 months, how in the world am I supposed to have posture with someone?”

The answer to this is actually sitting already inside of you, but you may not be aware of it.

Think about it this way, you have spent 5 years of your life training and learning proper technique for shooting a basketball or sewing a sweater. Picture that someone walks up to you and starts asking you about your shot or your sewing ability and tells you “You’re doing this wrong! You are not doing it the way you’re supposed to”

I bet that you’d stick up for yourself and show a form of posture, wouldn’t ya? I know that I sure would!

We have posture in many things in life, and it takes time to develop all of these things that you hold posture with, doesn’t it? It sure did with everything I’ve learned and am passionate about.

So how does this have anything to do with Network Marketing? Well, picture yourself on the phone with a prospect. The prospect is sort of questioning you about your business and your opportunity. They ask “So how much money are you making with this?” This is one of the most commonly asked questions that I get while talking to prospects.

You know what’s great about this question? It doesn’t have anything to do with how much you make, the only reason they ask is because they are scared, they want you to say “I’m not making anything, or I’m only making $100 a month” because then they can say to themselves that this doesn’t work. Or if you tell them “I’m making $20,000 a month” they probably will feel that they CAN’T do that and it will be counter-productive. The easiest answer for this and the one I always use is “If I told you how much I make, you probably wouldn’t believe me. It’s also not about how much I make, but about how much YOU will make.”

That is just a sample of how I use posture when speaking to my prospects. It’s simple and the great thing about it is that there are ways for you to cut down on your learning curve and you can even begin sponsoring new distributors within your first week of being involved with an opportunity.

The secret to gaining posture in your business is a course that has dramatically changed not only my life, but also my business.

This information is available at http://vur.me/chrishughes/Posture and I highly recommend you head over there and at least take a look at it.

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,

When funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.

When care is pressing you down a bit.

Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns

As every one of us sometimes learns.

And many a failure turns about

When he might have won had he stuck it out:

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.

And you never can tell how close you are.

It may be near when it seems so far:

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit

It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

———————————————————————–

This Poem kept me moving in those days where I didn’t want todo anything, and it kept me here, in this industry that I love long enough to find what I was looking for.. I hope that it helps your life as well..((Don’t Quit))

So my message for you is to never, ever, ever quit. If you do, you’ll always regret it.

I was just reading an article at CNET about how much Online Video is starting to take over.

Internet users in the U.S. watched 12.7 billion online videos in November, an increase of 34 percent versus a year ago.

Thanks to YouTube, Google Sites retained the crown as the top U.S. video property with nearly 5.1 billion videos viewed–or about 40 percent of all videos viewed online–with the video-sharing site accounting for more than 98 percent of Google’s traffic. Fox Interactive Media was a distant second with 439 million videos watched (or 3.5 percent), followed by Viacom Digital with 325 million videos watched (2.6 percent).

The data also showed that 77 percent of all U.S. Internet users had viewed online videos in 2008, and that the average online video viewer watched 273 minutes of video.

That’s all good news for sites like YouTube and Hulu that are trying to build an online ad market around video. One analyst firm expects the market for video ads to grow 45 percent to $850 million this year.

An eMarketer study released in December forecast more growth in years to come: $1.25 billion in 2010; $1.85 billion in 2011; $3 billion in 2012; and $4.6 billion in 2013.

SO. This got me thinking quite a bit about this.

If there is that many people watching online videos and you are a marketer and AREN’T using online video left, ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!

It just seems like it would be stupid not to be taking advantage of this huge market and to prosper from this huge boom in online videos. It’s so simple. You get a video camera, they are pretty cheap nowadays, you can make a short little video talking about something that you enjoy, maybe a new product or something and in the description, you can put a link to learn more about the product or to make a purchase of the product.

I’ve recently done this a few times with small powerpoints of useful information and then directly linking these videos to an affiliate page. How long did it take me to put up? Total time to research/make powerpoint/add audio to powerpoint: 45 minutes

to date, it’s made me $38.06 in sales. I know that since I’ve already done this work, I can continue to get paid from that 45 minutes of work. So far this means I’ve made almost a dollar per minute of work I’ve done. Sure doesn’t seem like hard work to me.

I plan on doing this over and over again with many other affiliate programs and if you’d like to learn my Simple Success Secrets to Affiliate Commissions Using Online Video, feel free to get ahold of me for a special deal on my video step-by-step e-book.

It’s mainly for the beginner to intermediate marketer who just wants to make an extra $100-$500 a month using simple videos/powerpoints.

Anyway… I feel that you NEED to get excited about online video. It’s something that isn’t going to go away, it probably will only get bigger. So, the choice is yours. I have chosen to ride the wave and make the money of that wave. It’s fun/simple and exciting. Kind of like playing Checkers

I was looking for something portable to take and use in my dorm room…. Something that if I was too lazy to walk to the gym, I could have a good workout in my dorm room.

So, I started looking up information on those doorway pull-up bars.

I have used a few of those pull up bars that attach to a doorway. I even used to have one in my closet when I was a little kid.

And I figure that getting in shape again should be a good idea if I’m to compete competitively in soccer again.

What that meant was that I did some research on a few different pull-up bars and decided to go with the Iron Gym version,

but it was a tough choice in that or the Everlast Multi Function Chinning Bar

but there was also the Perfect Pull-Up by the same company that made the Perfect Pushup, which I have and love using. If you haven’t seen them, check them out, they work great. The reason I didn’t want the Perfect Pull-up was because it would have to be screwed into the doorway and I didn’t want to need to do that.

But back to what I was saying. The Iron Gym pull up bar. It’s very handy.I can do 3 different types of pull-ups, as well as dips and pushups on it. Not that I need it for pushups…

Check it out, it was only like $30 which is cheaper than Gym Membership and works great!

so, I’m sitting here at 2:33am on a saturday night/sunday morning…

and on the 50 inch Panasonic HDTV I hear Morpheus say to Neo

“How do you interpret “real”"?

and it really got me thinking, how do we interpret what’s real?

Especially with manifesting your dreams. You do know that your brain can’t define what it sees in the mind and what it sees in reality.

Don’t believe me?Watch “The Secret” or “What the bleep do we know” and “What the bleep down the rabbit hole”

Consciousness is simply a fallout of the complex processes in the brain and has no separate existence of its own. According to D.M. Armstrong, consciousness is a sort of inner perception. He compared it with ‘proprioception’. A case of proprio-ception occurs when with our eyes shut and without touch, we are immediately aware of the angle at which our elbow is bent. However the immediate awareness of a brain state and a process like proprioception are governed by different neural mechanisms.

Consciousness gives us no physical signals or clues about its location in the body. It is not a thing in space and time and therefore not measurable. Here lies the problem of its study by science. Then, if we ask what it means to assert that something exists for which we have no ‘evidence’, we encounter a deep ambiguity between being and being known.

Anyway, just think. What “real” is, is just up to your perception of whats real.

What is Goal Setting?

I decided that I never really had a good definition for goal setting, so I went out and “googled it” and found a really good definition.

Goal Setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn this vision of the future into reality.

The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.

Thank you to MindTools for this explanation! You can find out more at, http://www.mindtools.com/page6.html

So, How would you go about setting the goals and what would you do upon finding your goals?

You wouldn’t just leave them on that piece of paper would you? I tried that, it doesn’t work You must take ACTION!

What needs to happen can be explained in 2 easy steps.
1) Plan
2) Strategy

Step 1) The Planning phase.

-take the time to sit down and develop a plan, find a final destination and other short-term goals
-Inadequate planning and control is the leading cause of lost productivity in most businesses
-Planning GETS THINGS GOING. It provides you with a direction to aim and a target to hit

You must be AWARE of your “big picture” and keep this in mind daily.

Step 2) The Strategy phase

-slow down
-have clear priorities and take strategic view of daily problems
-set up short-term goals(30-60 days)
-set up intermediate goals (3-10 months)
-set up long-term goals (2-5 years)
-develop a “plan of attack”

Strategic Plans, The success of organizations today require that every employee, on a daily basis, considers the “big picture” and thinks strategically about gaining and keeping a competitive edge.

In general, there are 4 steps to approaching Goal Setting and Achieving your Goals. If you can master these, you can master your business.

1- Formulate Plans
2- Carry Out Plans
3- Compare Preliminary & Final Results With Plans
4- Take Corrective Action

After going through the steps, you improve and re-do, going back to step 1 and trying to improve upon the final goal.

One of the biggest problems today is the “Busyness Trap”
You do not want to confuse being “busy” with being effective and efficient, we all know that RESULTS do matter. Results are the reason we are doing the things we do. If we didn’t want results, we wouldn’t be taking action.

Remember that activities and speed without results are an energy-sapping waste of time.

Slow down, have clear priorities and take strategic view of the daily problems.

Creativity is a blend of Knowledge, Imagination and Evaluation working together to “create” a new idea.

So how can you get more creative?

1) increase knowledge

-greater knowledge means that you’ll get more ideas and more patterns will be created, new combinations and fresher ideas.

2) increase imagination

-think in pictures more
-pay attention to creativity
-different situations and surroundings
-play games that exercise creative imagination

3) Evaluation

-Evaluate your idea, decide whether you can do it yet or not
-brainstorm potential ways of doing your idea
-if its something you think will work, DO IT

There are many mental locks in learning to be more creative, but by becoming aware of them, you can in turn learn to be more creative!

1) Looking for the “right” answer. Depending on your perspective, a given problem can have many “right” answers.
2) Always trying to be logical. Logic doesn’t always prevail, since human emotions and organizational inconsistencies, ambiguity and contradictions come up.
3) Strictly following the rules. If things are going to get better, you need to get right of arbitrary limits on thinking and behavior.
4) Insisting on being practical. Impractical answers to “what-if” questions can become stepping stones to creative insights.
5) Avoiding ambiguity. Creativity can be stunted by too much objectivity and/or specificity.
6) Fearing and avoiding failure. Fear of failure can be a paralyzing factor and prohibits us from acting on good ideas. Learn from your mistakes! Make mistakes, its okay, you can learn from them.
7) Forgetting how to play. I love this one because playing is what we were born to do, as children we were always happy “playing” so don’t be ashamed to have fun like you were a child!
Becoming too specialized. A lot of knowledge helps you with finding answers, learn about a lot!
9) Not wanting to look foolish. Humor releases tension and unlocks creative energies. Foolish questions enhance understanding.
10) Saying “I’m not creative”. You should have the mindset of “I am creative” since we all know that what you think about comes about.

By conquering these “mental locks”, you’ll be able to be happier and more creative!
